FAQs
How much will the Autotech Academy internships cost?
There’s no cost to colleges, as the automotive industry covers the funding through paid internships.
Will it impact our funding?
Only positively! A partnership with us improves destination data by making sure students have a clear path after finishing their course, which can lead to better funding opportunities for your department.
Is there a lot of work involved?
Not at all. Our team of specialists will take care of everything, from connecting colleges with industry employers to providing a support pack that promotes initiatives for learners.
How do we hear about internship opportunities?
Once you’re signed up, we get straight to work, connecting with local employers and notifying colleges about new internships. We also guide students through the application and interview process.
Is it an apprenticeship?
No. Our internships go hand-in-hand with apprenticeships, letting students apply what they’ve learnt instead of repeating the same training.
Will learners be tempted to intern before they qualify?
Never. We only accept students who have fully completed their college education.
