This Trainee Vehicle Inspector / Estimator position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for vehicles, strong attention to detail, and an interest in assessing vehicle condition and repair requirements. You’ll learn how to inspect vehicles, identify faults and damage, and produce accurate reports and estimates that support repair and maintenance decisions.
Working with one of our valued automotive employer partners, you’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop specialist skills within a growing area of the industry.

The Role As a Trainee Vehicle Inspector / Estimator, you will learn how to:
- Carry out vehicle condition inspections
- Identify mechanical, cosmetic, and accident-related damage
- Produce detailed reports and repair estimates
- Assess repair requirements and associated costs
- Work closely with workshop teams and customers
- Maintain accurate vehicle records and documentation
- Develop a strong understanding of industry inspection standards
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical aspects of the automotive industry whilst developing administrative, analytical, and customer-facing skills.
Requirements
- Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification(s)
- Available to work at least 40 hours per week
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using technology and recording information accurately
- Interest in vehicle inspections, assessments, or estimating
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence
